Mindfulness & Movement for a Life Well-Lived

Mindful Movement @Home

Do you ever get that feeling that “things” are a bit out of control? Maybe it is personal, maybe it is global, or both? These days I imagine nearly all of us feel that way at least sometimes. You may well have heard that “mindfulness” can be helpful here. In this pre-recorded program you will work with mindfulness in movement as well as with contemplations on some of life’s questions suggested by Feldenkrais® inspired movement lessons.

Have you considered that perhaps the best thing you can do right now, is to calm yourself and find a quiet embodied center from which to act? That is what this program is about.

I am pulling these lessons from my “archives” that were originally part of a monthly subscription. They were accompanied by supporting email content that I will also share.

Each of the 12 Awareness through Movement inspired movement lessons is about 10–20 minutes long. You will receive access to both a written and audio recorded version. Each lesson is designed as a “physical metaphor” for one of life’s questions or challenges. A few of the topics are…

  • Setting intentions.
  • Self compassion.
  • Transitions.

From this “embodied” place you will be offered question(s) for contemplation regarding the month’s theme.

You will receive access to all the lessons at once as they live on a password protected page on this site. I want to connect with each of you individually regarding sharing the other content. It makes most sense to spend at least a couple of weeks with each lesson and it’s content or your inbox will be flooded and a few repetitions of the lessons enhances the value.

A probable and pleasant “side effect” of the movement lessons will be a sense of greater physical ease and in some cases pain relief.

Cost is $100 for the twelve lessons and related content.
